The African Penguin is a charming seabird famous for its tuxedo-like feathers, hence the bow ties, and donkey-like call that earned them the nickname "Jackass Penguin." Built for speed in the water, these remarkable swimmers can reach up to 20 km/h, while devoted parents work together to raise and protect their chicks along South Africa's coastline. A well-known beach to spot them is Boulders Beach in Cape Town.

Here, Head On Design has collaborated with Cape Town artist Sharon Boonzaier, whose African Delft print reimagines the traditional blue-and-white Delft pottery style with African wildlife and native flora. The result is a contemporary interpretation of a 400-year-old European art form, celebrating both its rich heritage and the beauty of Africa.
